I saw this billboard driving north on the West Loop.
Then saw this one coming south on I-45 just before hitting the North Loop.
Any idea what they are all about? An homage to the great X song?

Darn. I had hoped this was some kind of artsy campaign with the simple goal of inspiring thought and wonder: "You? Me? Who?! What?" But I had a sinking suspicion it was one of those sequential advertisements that exploits that innocent curiosity for more lucrative aspirations.
Unfortunately, that latter turned out to be right. The billboards are now filled out, and they're advertising for a cell phone. Somebody thought the rectangular phone would look good in place of the "O". I don't know why.
I figured it would be something like that....
